Our people share our company values (Impact, Working Smart and Daring/Fun/Positive Energy), which translates into our clients’ experience.

Profile of Role

Being a Software Engineer at Infinity means more than just writing code. You will have the chance to be involved in architecture, design, automated testing and business demos. Together with the product team, you will be closely involved in scoping the features and building functionality that will delight the user.

We push for a short feedback loop, to allow us to iteratively improve what we build and how we build it. For this to be possible, we need a modern system that is easy to work with, independently deployable, and rewarding to make changes within.

We employ continuous deployment practices using GitHub Action driven pipelines, and infrastructure as code with Terraform.

The system you will be working on is based on an event-driven microservice architecture. Our backend services are written in Golang and our front-ends are written using Vue.js and TypeScript, with some key areas in Ember.js with JavaScript.

We take a cloud-native approach to all our new designs utilising a wide range of AWS services, so you will have a keen passion for all things serverless and public cloud. Some examples of services we use are:

  • EventBridge
  • SQS/SNS
  • Lambda
  • API Gateway
  • Kinesis
